Why We’re Here

 

     Here at Reimagine Life Church we want to help people connect with God. That’s not an easy task in today’s world. Many around us have turned their backs on the church, and for good reasons. Most have heard of Jesus, but for any number of reasons, haven’t really embraced him so that their lives are renewed.

     We want to change all that at Reimagine Life Church.

 

As lead pastor, here’s my pledge to you:

 

I pledge to be authentic: Life’s tough, and none of us has done a great job all of the time, least of all me. I won’t wear a mask of perfection. I’ll be honest when I blow it. I won’t ask you to be perfect either.

 

I pledge to be Relevant: Helping people understand where God and the Bible meet the real world is my goal. My messages are easy to understand and full of application points. There’ll be no missing the steps to life change.

 

I pledge to help you Mature: We all want to become all that God has destined us to be, to make a difference in the world. I don’t want you to sit quietly and listen to me week after week. I want to help you get in the game, to make your mark on life. That’s my desire for you.

 

I pledge to Share my Life with You: We need each other. The church should be a family. For some it’ll be a family like they’ve never had before. Families aren’t perfect, and neither am I, but I’ll try my best to develop a loving and caring family here at Reimagine Life.

 

I pledge to be approachable: The last thing I want is for someone to have a complaint against me or Reimagine Life and keep it in. Nope, go ahead and speak your mind. Some things we’ll change, some things we won’t, but you’ll have a voice.

 

I pledge to live with Integrity: There’s nothing worse than feeling like you have to make excuses for a leader who has fallen morally. I won’t expect you to. Now I can’t promise that I won’t disappoint from time to time, no one’s perfect, least of all me. But I won’t fall to such an extent that I’ll embarrass you or Reimagine Life Church.
